Under Construction

This is the first episode of the Gentleman's Drink using the new format. In it we discuss Jiu Jitsu, fighting, and our own combat training regimens.  We introduce two new features, one of them being our Monthly Top 5 lists and Viewer Mail. This months top 5 is 'The Top Five Most Gentlemanly Weapons'.

Pearl? Try ivory.

Patton's revolver's had ivory handles. Pearl handle pistols were for pimps in Louisana whore houses...not very gentlemanly in my opinion.

Witty

Quite amusing. Definitely digging the chemistry between you two.

Here is a thought...

In correlation with your idea of one's body being a lethal weapon, might I suggest black leather gloves as a gentlemen-like weapon? The traditional gentlemen is an upper-class figure who need not suffer the pains of physical labor. Being such makes one's hands soft and uncalloused. Therefore, a gentlemen would require gloves as to not injure his hands during physical combat.
Or how about a rapier? Many duels in the past were fought with these elegantly thin weapons.

Rapier is a good idea for sure! That almost made it in my top 5 list, but I figured the 'cane sword' is sort of rapier-esque haha. They are beautiful blades for sure, especially with the ornate hand guards.

Also the bonus thing about a gentleman wearing black gloves is he could then take one off and slap his enemy as the official challenge to duel!

Thanks for the comments Mezzamerize,

Ben
