Dame for the 1st Week of December: Sasha Apfelzweig

My name is Sasha Apfelzweig. I'm 20 years old and I live in Foster City. I enjoy being in front of the camera and I just started modeling this year. I am full Russian/Ukrainian and have learned a lot about my culture through my mother who immigrated to this country from Moscow. I am also currently a student studying for a Bachelors in Marketing/Advertising.

What is your alcoholic beverage of choice?
I love White Russians. I have quite a sweet tooth and can never resist the creamy decadence of a well-made White Russian.

Describe an instance in your own life where you thought a man behaved gentlemanly.
I had a boyfriend who came to meet my parents for the first time. Not only did he greet them at the front door with a box of chocolates, but he also looked my father in the eye when they shook hands. A man who can make a great first impression is definitely a gentleman in my book.

In your opinion, what is the one thing a gentleman should never do?
A gentleman should never boast. There's nothing more repulsing than a guy who feels the need to try and constantly impress a woman. If you can impress me without trying, then congratulations, because there are pretty few of your kind out there.

What are you interests besides modeling?
I love to cook. When I'm not out with friends, studying, or at the gym then I'm usually concocting some exotic feast in the kitchen. I also adore painting and drawing. It's not often I get a lot of time to sit down and really focus on my work but when I do, I pour my heart into it. I have sold a few pieces and have had a lot of my work exhibited in private galleries here in the bay area. I also love going to the movies!
